Often there is still snow on the ground in April, so you can snowmobile, ski or cross country ski later than in many other parts of Maine. In mid spring enjoy long hikes, blooming wild flowers, birds, moose and deer. Tea Pond Camps are close to the northern Forest Canoe trail, the Appalachian Trail, Sugarloaf USA and Saddleback Mountain.  There is abundance of wildlife to watch and photograph including moose and loons to name a few. Several beautiful golf courses are within a short driving distance and each offer spectacular scenery.  ATV trails open in late spring for your enjoyment.
